Carole Bienaimé Besse has over fifteen years of experience in the international entertainment industry and fundraising. Ms. Bienaimé-Besse has been involved in more than fifty international productions - fictions, documentary films - for Arte, BBC, Canal + , Studio Canal, France Télévisions, and Universal.
She is Producer and Founder of C.B.B. Entertainment. Beside her position she is Vice President of APA TV (Association pour la Promotion de l'Audiovisuel) and member of the Women's rights committee at CSA (Conseil Supérieur de l'Audiovisuel). She was Vice President of a prominent French producer's guild USPA from 2012 to 2014.
Previously, in 2007 Ms. Bienaimé Besse was Managing Director and Producer at Elemiah (Fimalac Group) and partner at B POP LLP, the production company of Malcolm McLaren and Young Kim based in London. She was also board member at COSIP fund of CNC (Centre National du Cinéma et de l'Image Animée) from 2007 to 2012.
Before that, in 2004, she co-founded Productions Campagne Première, a documentary film production company. Prior to this, she was Fundraising & Communications Director of Jacques Attali's international financing institution, PlaNet Finance, for which she also served as active Board Member from 2000 until 2004. Ms. Bienaimé Besse established her career in the film industry working as Production Manager at Compagnie Phares & Balises (Jean Labib & T. Celal) and with producer Marco Cherqui ("Un Prophète"). Previously Ms. Bienaimé Besse joined communications department of Sotheby’s France.
In July 2010 Ms. Bienaimé Besse was named Chevalier dans l’Ordre des Arts des Lettres (French cultural Knight) by French Ministry of Culture Frédéric Mitterrand. Ms. Bienaimé Besse has a Master in Law and International Relations and a MBA in Economics. She lives in Paris with her husband and children.
